Billingo, an online invoicing platform for enterprises, was curious to explore Generative AI’s capabilities. We quickly arrived at the vision of a chatbot that makes financial information interactive and lets users perform complex analysis using only natural language, without writing any code.
Hiflylabs integrated an agentic workflow into Billingo's services, enabling routing between text-to-code and RAG pipelines for a streamlined user experience via conversational interfaces. The text-to-code pipeline uses OpenAI's ChatGPT API to convert user questions into SQL, run database queries, and present results in natural language. The RAG pipeline handles unstructured data and Billingo policies. Real-time prompt anonymization and injection attack prevention protect sensitive data. Furthermore, query augmentation and follow-up suggestions improve results. After a successful PoC and pilot, full-scale production began, leading to further collaboration on advanced financial forecasts.
